Los Angeles adopts Google e-mail system for 30,000 city employees | Technology | Los Angeles Times

by Matthew Wygant on October 30, 2009

Having seen how many of my clients struggle with the costs and complications of running an in-house server, I don’t know why any of them would pass up letting Google do it all for them. This is an inexpensive and effective solution to employee e-mail, spam-blocking, document-sharing, intranet, extranet, scheduling, selective access, and the rest. Do consider Google instead of an in-house server. Recommended.
