After a strong product introduction program at ASMS, my client Protein Discovery wanted to follow up with a postcard to conference attendees. The objective was to reach and remind the ones most likely to try the brand new product — the early adopters — of its capabilities and newness. I worked up two concepts for the mailer and found complementary images on Flickr for both. After Protein Discovery selected the concept shown, I wrote up the brief copy and worked out permission to use the image with the Flickr user, who simply asked for acknowledgment. Tompertdesign did design and production.
